Gochen Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche will be the presiding Lama for the ceremony accompanied by other esteemed Lamas, Khenpos, and Lopöns.
Traditionally trained in Tibet, he was on a pilgrimage 0f which took him to Nepal when his homeland was invaded. Lama Wangdu remained there as a practitioner and wandering yogi.
Under the encouragement of HH Dalai Lama, he established a monastery for the Chöd lineage in Nepal. Here he trained monks in the Chöd tradition and served the Tibetan Refugees and Nepalis with healing, divination, blessings and powerful amulets. Opening at 7 am in the morning and going long into the afternoon, Rinpoche was available to those in need. Every person who came to him received his care and wisdom and a bag of food.
He offered this service 6 days a week for many years.
